By creating an account or using EstatePod, you agree to these terms. If you use EstatePod for an estate, you confirm that you are authorized to use the account and participate in that community.
1. Accounts and estate access
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and activity performed through your account. Estate access codes and administrator authorization codes are private credentials. Do not publish, share, or attempt to reuse a code outside its intended purpose.
2. The service
EstatePod provides tools for estate administrators and residents to coordinate meetings, maintenance, notices, community records, and urgent estate alerts. Features may differ by role, estate, account status, or release stage.
3. Acceptable use
You may use EstatePod only for lawful community coordination and only for estates or information you are authorized to access. You may not:
- Submit false, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or knowingly misleading alerts.
- Use SOS or urgent-alert tools for jokes, harassment, testing without authorization, or avoidable nuisance.
- Attempt to access another person's account, estate, records, or authorization code.
- Upload malicious code, infringing content, unlawful material, or another person's private information without permission.
- Interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass security controls in the service.
4. Community content and moderation
You retain responsibility for content you submit. You give HostMQ LLC permission to host, process, transmit, display, moderate, and remove that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve EstatePod and meet legal obligations.
Estate administrators may review or remove content that violates these terms or creates a safety, privacy, or community risk. You can report content or a user through the in-app reporting tools when available or by contacting hello@hostmq.com.
5. Urgent alerts are not emergency services
EstatePod alerts are a community communication tool. They are not a replacement for police, fire, ambulance, medical care, or other emergency services. In an immediate emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service first.
6. Availability and third-party services
We work to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. EstatePod may depend on third-party services for authentication, hosting, email, databases, and notifications. Their availability and terms may be outside our control.
7. Suspension and account deletion
We may limit or suspend access when necessary to address a security, legal, operational, or community-safety risk. You may request account deletion through the account deletion page. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as EstatePod evolves. Material changes will apply prospectively, and the updated date will appear above. Questions may be sent to hello@hostmq.com.
